About me

Outside of academics and work, I enjoy swimming, biking, hiking, and reading about space and history. I love a good brunch followed by a walk in the park, and my favorite things to make are lemon shrimp and key lime pie. I grew up a Chicago Bears fan, so loyalty is something I’ve had plenty of practice with.

My family is Greek, and I grew up in a bilingual household near Chicago. With family roots in Tripoli, Kalavryta, and Corfu, I remain closely connected to my heritage. I’m the middle of three sisters, which I’ve been told is fairly obvious. Family and friends are central to my life; I believe the people around you deserve just as much care and attention as the work you do.

Volleyball has been a significant part of my college experience. As a setter, I love the mental complexity of the game: running an offense, recognizing openings, making decisions quickly, and helping my teammates succeed. Being a setter suits both my height and the way I think. I enjoy finding ways to make a difference through my understanding of the game, alongside the physical skills it requires.

My friends would describe me as quick to laugh—even at myself—competitive, and fiercely loyal. I look up to my mother, who taught me to work hard, be decisive, and stand up for myself. After graduation, I’m excited to step into a new environment, possibly explore a new city, and discover what life looks like beyond college. I’m looking forward to building a career, meeting new people, and having a little more room to explore my interests and figure out what I want this next part of my life to look like.
